Consumer Caucus at the State Convention. 9:30 Saturday
I have suggested that the State organize a "talking points" sessions on various topics such as education, immigration, insurance, and any other issue facing candidates in the next election.

I have not heard back from them, so I have organized a session called the "Consumer Caucus" for lack of a better name on Saturday at 9:30 room 118 to discuss consumer issues.

(Harris County Democratic Party is arranging this type of events in Houston)

It is my hope that everyone would walk out with talking points about the Texas Residential Construction Commission, "a case study in corruption", and where to find more detailed information.

I will also cover arbitration, insurance and touch on tort reform.

Again, it is my hope that everyone will be on the same "talking points" on the areas of consumer protection.

1. The PPC caucus is at 9:00 a.m. Saturday
We have a conflict John. I really, really hate that we have to have any conflicts, but I think the 3 biggest caucuses are right after each other - PPC, DFT and Hispanic/Latino.

Damn!

Sonia

4. WTFK?
I dont know but I will contact the party today and see what the schedules are. I know there will be conflicts.

It pisses me off that we cant have sessions to get our talking points together and walk out united on them.

But then again, who the *()& am I?
