This evening we released our fourth quarter Federal Election Commission report and we have very good news to share with you.

As today’s campaign finance reports show, Tom is receiving a record amount of contributions from folks who want to help him fight Democrat prosecutor Ronnie Earle, liberal Democrat attack groups, and Nancy Pelosi’s hand-picked candidate – Nick Lampson from Beaumont.

Tom continues to receive this broad support because he fights for the same conservative principles that Texans stand for every day – supporting our troops as they continue the war on terror, scrapping America’s onerous tax code, securing our borders, and putting an end to illegal immigration.

And while Tom is fighting for Texas values, take a look at how Nick Lampson’s been spending his time –


While Tom was condemning the inappropriate call by Democrat leaders to cut and run from the war in Iraq, Nick was hobnobbing at a fundraiser in Boston with the very members who were calling for troop withdrawal.

While Texans were voting overwhelmingly to keep marriage between one man and one woman only, Nick was touring America’s liberal bastions with San Francisco Democrat Nancy Pelosi, who fully supports gay marriage.

And while Vice President Cheney was in Houston to highlight Tom’s effectiveness in passing President Bush’s agenda through Congress, Nick was holding joint fundraisers with Democrat leaders who’ve spent the last six years trying to block tax cuts and undermine family values.

That’s right - Nick’s support is so minimal here in Texas that he was forced to take his fundraising on the road to America’s most liberal cities – New York, Boston, Chicago, and even San Francisco.

Just last night on MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Mathews, Lampson was backed into a corner and admitted what he never wants you to hear – that if elected, he would vote to make Nancy Pelosi the Speaker of the House of Representatives because he wants “good ideas” in Congress. Folks, we’ve already seen the ideas that Nick Lampson and Nancy Pelosi would bring to our country: endless tax hikes, a free-for-all for trial lawyers who want to destroy small businesses and our health care providers, a rapid withdrawal from fighting terrorists over seas, and surrendering our borders to illegal aliens.

Nick has been very careful to do his fundraising with Nancy Pelosi away from Texas. But he can’t hide his sworn loyalty to her forever. Nick clearly doesn’t want the voters to know the company he keeps, or the liberal Democrat agenda he’s really fighting for.

his website doesn't appear to welcome contributions via check. I don't like to contribute via credit card, and most certainly won't allow them to draw directly from my bank account. What is so hard about providing a donor form that can be printed and mailed in with a check or money order?
