DU'ers DFW...trying to pick which "National Organizing Kickoff"
meeting to attend on the 15th. The Democratic Party website at:

http://www.democrats.org/page/event/search_results?type=simple&orderby=zip_radius&zip_radius%5b0%5d=76135&zip_radius%5b1%5d=100

lists 23 locations within 100 miles of my zip code. Any suggestions here as to where we might find some other DU'ers in attendance.

1. If you were in Austin, you could come to the meeting at my sil's
(and daughter's, of course) house. But my posting seems to be falling fast. Hope you have luck finding some DU folks at your meeting.

2. I'm thinking about Bar-B-Q
One of the 23 locations is serving a Bar-B-Q dinner. If I can't find other DU'ers, at least I can help support the Texas Beef Consortium.

Thanks for the offer. Hope you get more responses. (I love Austin, BTW)

3. Well, I love Houston but grew up in Richardson. Austin is too provincial
pour moi.

4. I love Houston except for the hot months (march thru december)
I don't spend enough time in Austin anymore to know much about it. My affection for it stems from the time I worked there a lot in the 80's. That period is a little hazy though from too many nights spent "having fun" on 6th st.
