http://www.kvue.com/news/local/stories/100605kvueFraserarrest-cb.102595de0.htmlThe son of a prominent state senator faced charges Thursday after he was arrested on Austin's 6th Street.
Andrew Fraser, 26, is the son of Senator Troy Fraser, whose district includes areas of Central Texas, such as Horseshoe Bay and Killeen.
Fraser is accused of offering a police officer $10,000 to let him go.
A police affidavit says Fraser appeared intoxicated early Wednesday morning and did not leave even after officers repeatedly told him he would be arrested if he didn't.
After Fraser was handcuffed, an officer stated in the documents, " Fraser then stated that I would regret arresting him due to his father was a state senator."
I missed this item. Just picked up the tip from the PinkDome.
Not surprising. I mean these are the values of republicans. The law doesn't apply to them and they should always be able to offer enough money to make the police look the other way.
