5. I hate daylight savings time

I especially hate it in the spring. Nobody uses that extra hour of daylight that I know. Most people just lose a bunch of sleep in the morning.

Don't get out much anymore. On the bright side, only 1387 days until * is out of officially out office! With a little luck his exit will be somewhat expedited...

10. We had a nice turnout

We had 7 DUers from across the state. A very nice time indeed. No one showed up in costume, damn. Many showed up tired and with too little sleep.

In addition to the Austin regulars GOPisEvil, VelmaD, NoPasaran and I, we had visiting guests BouncyBall, Aquarius and BlueCollar.

We had the usual round of complaining about Toxic Tom Delay, the corrupt current regime and recent high profile deaths. Everyone had a good breakfast.

We even had DUers phone in during breakfast. These gatherings are starting to look like house parties with celebrity guest call ins. That's not a bad idea, we should host a brunch meetups with DU call-ins from across the state or country. Who wants to cook?

Some of us are still trying to catch-up on sleep, but it was worth the red-eyes! Thank you everyone for getting together again so we could brunch with everyone and chat! BlueCollar registered for Democracy Fest so we'll be down again in June! TAKE CARE!!! :)
