1. SD Blog
How are we going to get one.

It would greatly benefit our party outreach in SD.

2. Blogless Party

Maybe the SD Party ('we run 70 candidates out of 105 every 2 years, but they are good candidates!') has no blog, but I have a blog set up--

Too much energy has focused on a Dem State Party that basically is very good at getting 2 or 3 Federal offices, but clueless at getting control of the State House/State Senate or Governor's chair.

My blog, my proposal would work a lot FASTER than the 2 year election cycle, the expensive campaigning, the costly responding to all the Republican and 527 attack ads.

It would work so fast, it would be amazing!

Check it out--

((This is my idea, and has nothing to do with the State Party))

That the more activists that get on-line and try to push the party is a great thing to try and do. But that we also need to get the state party to set up a blog to interact with citizens on a regular basis. We just have to teach them how.

Also, suggest that you get something beside AngleFire because no one will deal with all of the cookies and pop-ups.

3. Check the Link
The idea is to get every state party to have an official blog connected to their website.

I don't have time to help get it setup myself right now, so posted the link here incase someone else was interested in pursuing it. If no one has by the time I get some time open, then I will do it myself.

5. Here is Blog!
Edited on Sat Feb-19-05 11:57 AM by sd_UDO

SD Democratic Party, no blog? No problem!

Here is my blog---

http://www.angelfire.com/sd2/105/udo

Elections and victories 6 times a year!

So my site has popups?

Look, no blog versus blog with popups? I'll take the popups instead.

Actually, I don't get popups, I use

FIREFOX Browser, go to www.mozilla.org

and download it--

Internet Explorer crashes a lot more than Firefox does. Firefox is
nonprofit, IE is Microsoft, which has supported Republican candidates.

Plus---Firefox blocks popups--Internet Explorer does not!

6. SDDP blogs
Talk to Judy Olson Duhamel, the party chair, or Jason Schulte, the party ED about your idea for a party blog. It is a good idea. They are receptive to new ideas. The party only has 2 staff people. Money is an issue right now but things have gotten better. Go to http://www.sddp.org for contact info on Jason and Judy.
