Cmon .... You arent a day over 22 .....

Happy Birthday Jen .... Miss ya ......

My son is a student in PPS, which by 7 am had STILL not called school off ... but after looking outside and seeing deep snow and heavy snowfall, I went ahead and pre-empted PPS and declared a family snow day ....

And the crowd cried "Yay ! " ....

We wound up with just over 3" ; just enough to shovel off the walks .... It was pretty damned kewl though ....

Again: Happy Birthday ....

School and work (preschool) canceled again Thursday. Jeesh! I'm ready for a normal day. The kids are ready to go back or rather, I'm ready for them to go back. :)

7. I've vetoed the idea of me going to work today, unless it all melts off by noon
which is looking less and less likely as the snow continues to fall...

16. Woot! North Clackamas closed. I'm liking it!
My son the baker got a phone call that the first shift is canceled, so he'll be off work tonight. The only person I'll have to worry about is my husband. He grew up in Pennsylvania, so he isn't going to be housebound by anything less than snow up to the second story windows.

Guys can be so damned stubborn. :eyes:

I'm pretty sure my daughters, who carry my "wuss" karyotype, will have the sense to stay in tomorrow.

17. finally put chains on yesterday
Yesterday afternoon my 78-year old father-in-law called home to say he was stuck at McDonalds on highway 43. WIth the help of new chains & 4WD I was able to get off the hill here in West Linn & rescue him from fast-food hell. Looks like I'll be working from home again today.
