Shrub's Appearance in Miami Valley NOT Open to Public.
That's us, folks, the PUBLIC.

According to an article in this morning's "Dayton Daily News" he's appearing for only a chosen few (probably those who can afford to buy tickets; no disruptors here):

"He is expected to speak Tuesday morning at Hara Arena, then travel to Lebanon to deliver a speech at the Golden Lamb Inn.

His day will begin near Toledo and end with a rally in the Cincinnati Area.

The Hara Arena event is not expected to be open to the public."

Sounds like a fund-raising ONLY event with no access to those who would criticize -- that would be US, the PUBLIC, again.

2. Obsessive?
You got that right.
He's also obsessive about not having his shoes touch dirt. I wonder how he manages that on his show ranch. I also wonder how long he will keep his show ranch after he leaves office.

4. I was offered tickets
to the Cincinnati appearance (my father was elected mayor as an independent in one of the burbs) I might go. I'd be interested in seeing what a whole bunch or rabid bushies are like. I'll just keep my damn mouth shut and not let on that I am an interloper. Should I do it?

5. You must have a cast iron stomach!
I don't think I could survive something like that. My system would shut down completely. :(

6. I'm used to it.
My family consists of all points of view. We all love each other, even though we disagree. We have spirited debates, and then go have a beer. The only things we all agree on are 1. Steak is the greatest food ever 2. Key Lime Pie is the best pie. 3. Beer and wine are gifts from God. 4. Firearms are fun and good. 5. Don't ever mix #3 and #4. Many of my good friends are righties, many are lefties. I care about and love them all. I can handle being an interloper, and seeing what it is like.

12. Family
I understand the family thing, but I have to disagree with you on some of those points.

1. Steak is overrated.
2. Pecan pie is the best pie.
3. Diet Mt. Dew and Diet Dr. Pepper are gifts from God.
4. I agree with this one. "Firearms are fun and good."
5. While I would never mix "beer and wine" with firearms, I happily mix Diet. Mt. Dew and Diet Dr. Pepper with firearms. :)

I also enjoy "being an interloper."

Go, and let us know what happened. It should be one interesting report.

On edit:

Oh, and how much would those tickets have cost?

More power to you in dealing with your family. Growing up, mine was very much like thatand I remember my dad and my uncles yelling at each other and then having a beer and talking about something else.

I deal with Repukes everyday; my husband is one, but he's kind of leaning . . . maybe just a little . . .
