Earlier this morning it was announced that Stephanie Studebaker is a finalist in a competition to win a national endorsement from America's largest grassroots organization, Democracy for America (DFA). If Stephanie wins this endorsement it will translate into national press coverage and financial support.

16. Yes, I met with Ted Strickland last night.

There was a Democratic gathering last night at the Union Hall on Poe Ave. Ted came in with Stephanie Studebaker and Richard Cordray as they were on tour thru Ohio....came up from Clinton County. Lots of our incumbent Democrats and local candidates were there...Caroline Rice, Bev Smith, Fred Strahorn, Tom Roberts and many more...Of course Dennis and Debbie Lieberman and Rhine McLin were there as were most of our regulars ..It was a night of speeches and socializing. Ted hung out for the entire night!!!! ................a very "bonding" moment for all of us.


It looks like Stephanie will be in the DFA instant run-off....but that is not "official" as DFA must make their announcement.

Glad you got to meet Carolyn Rice. I met her through the 2004 Kerry/Edwards campaign. She and I did some door-to-door together and she helped as an official "greeter" when I was in charge of meetings at Dem HQ.

I've heard the powers-that-be told her the 38th Ohio District is NOT winnable and John White will be re-elected. Miracles do happen.
