Yes, I meant the 5 or 6th.

That's what I get for looking at my wall planner and mistaking August for April. :P

I'll change it.

edit: Changed it.

4. I keep meaning to tell you how good a host Matthew was!

He really showed me all about motion detector lighting!

That was a great evening!

3. What a good idea! Triangle DUers should get together regularly!
I'm flexible regarding locale.

I may be out of town the first weekend in August, so I'm voting for the very end of July.

Thanks for posting this, supernova! :)

10. Anyone been to Third Place in the Five Points area?
It's a nice coffee shop I went with a girl a couple months ago. They have good music, good coffee (I guess, I don't drink that shit), and good food. The area is really nice too.

Just my two cents.

16. A couple
There's Tir Na Nog and 42nd Street Oyster Bar.

We could also do the wine bar on Franklin Street if Chapel Hill is chosen. That would be a good choice before the kids come back to school.

18. In our April thread for a Raleigh meet, people suggested
Rira, Two Guys, Cafe Cyclo, 42nd St Oyster Bar, and the Hibernian.

I used to eat at the CharGrill sometimes, but their meeting facilities are limited :D

21. The Hibernian is very nice
as is 42nd Street.

Ri Ra gets a lot of attention, but the Hibernian seems more chill to me. I haven't been there in a while.

12. Actually, the Red Room on Glenwood Avenue is very good too
bit more of a club atmosphere than say Third Place, and the music is more techno oriented, but my roommates and I had a great time when we went.

13. I love Tapas!
:9

There was a really nice place in Chapel Hill, but they closed down and I haven't found a good place since.

19. There's always Cup a Joe on Hillsborough Street
ultra liberal atmosphere, good coffee according to people i know who can stomach that atrocious crap, kinda warm in the summer, but not horrible.

I have juicy gossip about that place. Some older, married guy from work tried to get me to have an affair with him at that place. Ewww.
