I took my trip to NY and, yes, it did include the NY aquarium and Coney Island. You all were so wonderful in giving me links and information. I may not have made the trip to Brooklyn if it were not for you.

You all were so kind and I am proud to be part of such a wonderful group.

1. how was the aquarium?

and what did you think of coney island? did you see the side show :D

2. The aquarium was great.

We started at the aquarium and they suggested that we go to the 3-D show first since lines can sometimes be very long. We went to the 3-D movie 'Deep Sea', I believe it was called.

The kids loved the aquarium. We got to see them feed some of the animals and it was just really cool. I think I liked the sharks best of all.

We made our way to Coney Island and tried Nathans. Ya know, the hot dog was OK but I think I would have liked it better if my husband had gotten it loaded. We were sitting on a bench and holding it since they seemed to be in short supply. Hubby bought plain hot dogs for everyone. I did, at least, get ketchup but nothing else! Their fries were some of the best I have tasted though.

We did do rides but I did not get a chance to see the side show. It was so got that after only an hour or so even the kids were begging to go back home. I did not feel bad about that since I even heard the locals complaining over and over about how hot it was. I hate that I missed the side show but as hubby pointed out, that gives us something to go back for. One thing we did decide is that next time we will not be there for the summer because of the heat.
