Jeb Bradley: Apologist for Corruption
On Thursday, April 7, Rep. Jeb Bradley defended House Majority Leader Tom DeLay
on New Hampshire Public Radio. Rep. Peter Sullivan released this statement in
response to Bradley's comments:

"Jeb Bradley's response shows that he is happy to be part of the problem, not
part of the solution. Jeb has chosen to put partisan loyalty ahead of public
integrity. That's inexecusable".

"Contrary to Jeb Bradley's assertions, the calls for sanctions against Tom
DeLay are not a rush to judgement. Tom DeLay has been admonished by the House
Ethics Committee on four separate occassions, and he is currently the subject of
a criminal investigation by the district attorney in Austin, Texas".

"We should demand the highest standards of ethical conduct from our elected
leaders. By making excuses for someone like Tom DeLay, Jeb Bradley has become a
willing participant in a culture of corruption and complacency".

1. what a weenie
Last week at the explosive Bradley town hall meeting in Moultonborough, a man in the audience asked Bradley about his recieving campaign funds from Tom DeLay. This crowd was fiercely holding Bradley accountable, and he was looking a little disheveled by that point. (Betsey Patten even more so - tee hee) He had the grace to blush, and try to weasel around it with the crowd - who weren't buying the Bradley message that evening.

Unfortunately, the only media present was the Laconia Citizen, which printed a very sanitized account of the evening, and has yet to print any letters to the editor criticizing said sanitized account. No mention of the sign waving activists greeting Bradley when he arrived.

2. Of course, you mean Bradley...right?
I presume you do!:wow:

I'd hate to see such a vile insult after my afternoon battling the effects of a bad egg salad sandwich (which forced me to miss the Fisher Cats home opener, dad nab it!)
