Good moving company?
Is there a moving company you've had a good experience with for moving within Minnesota?

Used Google to search. I am not even sure they have movers but I thought it was worth a try.
Good luck.

3. Local Motion.
I've used them twice. During the second move, moving a bedframe around a tricky corner, they dinged the drywall and brought it to my attention. I wouldn't have even known it was the movers if they hadn't said something. We were going to repaint that wall anyway. But I thought that was pretty cool they told me - and offered to pay for the damages.

4. Yes - North American Van Lines
At my last job in the cities, I would only use this company because they always did such an outstanding job for trade shows and if there was a problem my contact there was a VP so he could get things done. So when we retired to northern MN 12 years ago, we hired them. My contact guy called the Duluth office and they came down and moved us up north.

It was the most stressful day I can remember because we closed on our old place in the morning, moving company came, packed and loaded us up and even drove the second vehicle for us, then we closed on the new house in the afternoon. However...the veterinarian didn't give the two cats sedatives soon enough for the ride ahead of time, so they were just wild almost the whole way. Upon closing, there was a glitch in the property lines because the previous attorney was 99 years old and blind. So that was a mess where we had to do a contract for deed which was awfully messy to handle alone because Mr. pengillian stayed to help get unpacked. My realtor really helped me through that though.

And with all that BS, the only smooth thing going that day were the movers. Nothing lost or broken and the workers were very pleasant, even though it was a sweltering hot humid day, like we've had recently.

Good luck with your move :hi:
