Have you guys seen what that loathsome pissant bag of douche Timmy the Tool
is up to now?

Tim Pawlenty will veto same-sex end-of-life rights bill because he wants to be president

Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty isn't seeking reelection. He is seeking the Republican Party's 2012 presidential nomination. So he's no longer obligated to give a shit what his constituents think -- he's governing solely for the editors of the Weekly Standard and our nation's conservative newspaper columnists.

This is why Pawlenty announced his plan to veto a bill providing same-sex couples with the same end-of-life rights as married heterosexual couples. It's not a gay marriage bill. It's not even a civil unions bill. It directly addresses specific legal inequities without making religious people feel too "gross" about men kissing each other or stealing the word "marriage" or whatever. Only a tremendous asshole would veto this bill.

Pawlenty says he'll veto the bill because "there is no actual need for this," and he says signing this bill extending civil rights without harming anyone would simply "stoke up a political controversy on a hot-button issue."

So he has no substantive reason for vetoing it. He just thinks it's not necessary (it is -- wills don't give surviving partners the right to sue for wrongful death, for example) and that it will be controversial. And it would be controversial solely because coldblooded pricks like Tim Pawlenty find opposing the extension of equal rights to gay people to be a really easy way to make bigots send you money, so you can run for president.

I really hate this guy.

1. I despise that worthless piece of shit.
All he's done these past 8 years is run this state into the ground as if he were its king and the only people he cared about pleasing were the Taxhaters League. He has never done a decent or compassionate thing in his life - he's a self-centered asshole who never won a majority of the votes and ONLY won because two Democrats split the vote against him both times.

He's a smarmy nasty rat-faced fuck and I can't wait to see him gone, gone, gone.

2. He also veto the bill to restore the cuts to the Medical Bill
for the poor and disabled the legislature just passed. It only took him a few hours to veto it. He is despicable. How can anybody continue to cut services for the poor and for education. He has almost ruined this state and I can not understand how in the hell he ever got elected the second time. After the way the votes were hidden and not counted for Franken in the republican stronghold of Minneapolis' county I think the same thing happened with Phewlenty. I think that's whey he overcame the overwhelming lead the DFL candidate had. I will never ever believe he legally won.

3. And let's remember, a majority of Minnesotans never voted for him
He's governor because Bush & Rove told him to stand down so Coleman could run for the Senate & he won because it was a three way race.

I really hope karma bites him in the ass soon & I hope it happens publicly because he deserves to become a national laughing stock and I will have no qualms about enjoying his humiliation.
