Former Green Party Candidate Papa John Kolstad Gets GOP Endorsement for Mayor of Mpls?

The Independence Party has endorsed Papa John Kolstad for Mayor tonight. Mr. Kolstad is a small business owner on East Lake Street who has much experience
in reform-minded politics. Papa John will bring his experience from the Green Party and pair it with endorsements from the Independence Party and the
Republican Party.

Will Ted Nugent come to Minneapolis to jam with Papa John at a fund-raiser?

1. It's very sad that the Greens in Minneapolis tend to be stealth Republicans
(since they know that an upfront Republicanite can never get elected here).

That's not the case in Oregon, where they give the Democrats a much-needed push to the left.

2.  And Zimmermann who accepted bribes from a Hummer-driving Republican developer...
...and who worked with Rep. Mark Olson to monkey-wrench transit funding:

3. Perhaps they're trying to be a "big tent"
like we're so often told the Democrats must be when we question why people like Colin Peterson stay in the party. It that is the case, it doesn't appear to be working for the Greens either.
