Tax Day Protest 4/15 at noon: TAX the RICH, Bail Out the People !!!!
(this protest was set up before the "teabag parties" the Capitol should be interesting on Wed)
(I can guarantee the People's Bailout will have much more diversity then the teabaggers)

Tax Day Protest

THIS Wednesday!

April 15, noon

MN Capitol St Paul, MN

Tax the Rich ! ....... Bail Out the People

The People’s Bailout Bill calls for:

< Jobs or income now

< Moratorium on home foreclosures and evictions of renters from foreclosed buildings.

< No Layoffs - save jobs

< No Attacks on Immigrants

< No one in Minnesota should be cold or hungry.

< Protect public education. No tuition hikes

The economy is in crisis. The state of Minnesota has a budget deficit. We say NO to balancing the state budget on the backs of poor and working people…again. The wealthy have enjoyed years of tax breaks. But, they ran this economy into the ground, causing suffering all around. It’s time for them to pay.

The People’s Bailout Bill (SF-542/HF-626) goes part way to undoing the harm that this economy has done to us. Call your legislator and say, “Pass the People’s Bailout Bill. It’s time to tax the rich.

1. Are you a Minnesotan or just surf the web to post your talking points
on forums used by Minnesotans?

Just curious since you hide your profile and usually post general political points that can easily be generated by outsiders with interest.

2. I can guarantee Ann has been far more involved in Minnesota politics than most people on this site.
I can vouch for Ann as a real Minnesotan who has done a great deal of good work for this state, this nation, and this planet. I have met Ann on a few occasion, and I will undoubtedly be working with her more in the future. She has put up many very informative posts on this site, and I for one appreciate her posts a hell of a lot more than I appreciate the attacks I have seen you post on far too many occasions. Don't question Ann's motives, she is a true activist who has worked very hard in her attempts to make this world a better place and she deserves respect for what she does.

3. "Don't question motive?"
Wow! On a Democratic board, no less.

I, and everyone, should question anyone's motives, at every opportunity. I have seen too many individuals and groups hide behind a shield of - take your picks: patriotism, altruism, etc. - to promote hidden agendas.

When the only posts a person has are propaganda pieces - regardless of the topic - and chooses to hide her profile - I should continue to question her motives. And yours.

At a recent post she did not even know that a person she trashed was a State Senator.

4. You never questioned anything she said, you merely launched a false attack on her character.

You can question her opinions all you want, but to basically imply that she is some sort of mole who doesn't even live in Minnesota is nothing more than character assassination. Your post did not refute any of the points she was making, it was only meant to make her as a person look bad. You can question ideas all you want, but when you personally trash the character of one of my friends without even bothering to address her arguments then I am going to call you out on it.

And do you even recognize your hypocrisy in calling her out for not knowing someone was a State Senator the moment after you accuse someone of not living in Minnesota when in fact they do live in Minnesota?

On edit: I just found that post in which you were upset that she "trashed someone without even knowing they were a State Senator", Ann called her a "State Representative" which is not exactly the same thing but it is pretty damn close and it is the sort of mistake that everyone makes from time to time. But then I am sure you are absolutely perfect and have never mixed up anyone's title before right?
