I just cranked it up two days ago and should have a couple of work units completed by Monday...older CPUs.

1. i am!
it's pretty cool watching the protein form. i started later on Tuesday and finished one WU in under two days. Should be past two by Monday, depending on how much I will be on the computer over the weekend. here's the link if anyone else is interested.

it doesn't slow down my normal pc operations that i can tell. i do shut it off when i'm playing games though:D

I just found out about this thing last week when I was trolling around in GD. I don't post very frequently anymore, but I hit this site several times a week to check out LBN and I love the Top Ten Conservative Idiots.

7. read the thread in OP.
u r basically donating your excess processor power to run protein model simulations to help fight diseases like alzheimers. it's easy to install the program and it runs in the background so you don't notice it. i pause it when i play my power hungry games though:)

btw, over three WUs in one week. not as fast as some, but faster than others!
