1. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family.
I hope she will be alright.

3. Too bad about the Middle East trip though.
I was anxious to see what she could come up with.

4. Me, too
Sounds like she'll reschedule it once she's back on her feet, though.

Never had one, but know folks who have. She is otherwise gifted with good health, so I am sure she will be looking and talking straight with those eyes real soon. I just hope the bad guys don't make something of this that it is not.

I don't agree with her on everyting, but damn if she ain't a shining star in my Michigan sky.

6. Good luck to her, but
she is far from a shining star. First she tries every undemocratic trick in the book to seat Hillary as the winner of the Mi primary, and eventual nominee, and then does nothing when she should be stepping in and kicking that bum Kwame out, because he's from the same political stable as her. I mean I know she's a Democrat, but she's no shining star. With that being said I wish her a speedy and healthy recovery.

7. I do agree with you on the primary issue. However....
I think she is being prudent by not intervening in the Kilpatrick situation. I am not a Kwame fan (I want Archer back!), but she is making the right move in letting nature and the city take it's course.

I sometimes have a problem with her in that she plays rope-a-dope when she is getting beat up on certain issues. I have talked about this many times.

Compared to Gubna Big Turd (Engler) she is a star in my book. Engler's antics hurt me personally, and some of you know why, so I won't go into all that again.

8. Her prudence robs the biggest city in the state
more every day, but I guess you could argue that if you wish. But to say she's a star next to Engler? A big turd is literally a star next to Engler.

9. I don't have enough posts to pm you SharonRB
and I had some questions about your smart car from a previous thread.

Sorry to do this in an unrelated thread.

10. Not sure why that thread is locked, so I'll respond here
I'd be happy to give you info about my car -- I reserved for $99 back in April of last year. I love the car, but obviously have no experience with it in the snow yet. From what I understand, it's a good idea to invest in snow tires, which I'll probably do next winter.

If you're interested, it would be a good idea to get on the list now, as it could take a year or more to get a car -- you. The other option to get one more quickly, would be to go to the dealership north of Square Lake on Telegraph and get on their orphan list. The list is people who are waiting for "orphans," or cars that have been ordered, but then not taken by the person who ordered them once they arrive for one reason or another. You could get lucky, especially if you're not picky as to color and options.

Once you have enough posts to PM, PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you mine and my phone number if you want to talk about it or have more questions.

If you haven't gone to the smart usa site yet, it's http://www.smartusa.com. There's also a discussion board at http://www.smartcarofamerica.com/forums, where you can keep up with the discussion between people who have received or are waiting to receive their cars. I've gotten a lot of valuable information there.

Good luck! It's the most fun I've ever had with a car so far.
