Howard County Executive Race...
Merdon (R) seems like a decent candidate. How is Ulman (D) handeling the race thus far?

What are some predictions for the general election?

1. Merdon has more yard signs
If that means anything. I find him slimey-smarmy looking-sounding. Ken Ulman ...... son of Luis Ulman at Hodes Ulman, Pescen, and Katz ..... since they stopped with the big band radio station they owned, they're not my favorite guys either.

Silly reasons, both. But I'll vote for Ulman. HoCo is tending Repub these days, so the race is anyone's guess. I've seen no polling whatever.

2. Thanks for the insight from the ground.
Im worried about Merdon, he seems like a good, well funded candidate. I wouldnt be suprised if he pulled it off.

We need Ulman to do well though, as it will help O'Malley in Howard County.
