If I had the money and was a tad older...
Id run to the left of Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger (MD-2) in 2004.

I still cannot believe he voted for that horrible piece of legislation they call the bankruptcy bill. In a district as safe as MD-2 there is absolutely no reason for Ruppersberger to vote the way he did. The only one reason comes to mind, $$$. That bill was a direct attack on the working class people of this country. According to a Harvard study more than 50% of bankruptcies filled in the US are a direct result of unpayable medical bills.

Sickening.

1. Bingo. MBNA is a major contributor and employer.
That is why Dutch voted for that garbage. It was all about the money. There is plenty of room to the left of Dutch, but the district, even after being redrawn, still has plenty of conservatives in it.
