I posted it in the lounge earlier this week, but I just wanted to share it again in our Maine forum in case anyone missed it. Enjoy!

1. How neat!

We have a couple deer in our backyard all the time. (I don't feed them.) They've never come that close though.

2. Our other neighbor, a couple of years ago, tried to

raise these deer for meat. Well needless to say, there was a prison break and some of the deer got free and have been roaming the neighborhood ever since. They apparently can survive quite well in the wild, but are at the same time quite tame. There are at least six or seven of them as we have seen them in our front yard. But to come up on the deck and interact with the cat! Well that is just priceless!

3. Life free of demagogues.

If only more members of the human herd, that is, the voting public,
were as inquisitive as cats and deer!

5. We just had two deer run down our street

I think they were spooked by snowmobiles.

6. Great Pic

We had 6 in our backyard yesterday afternoon. They were eating on the little bit of grass not covered by the snow and playing and frolicing all over the yard. Fun to watch!
