Culver in IC this past day...

Chet Culver was in Iowa City, visiting the Hamburg Inn.

If anyone was there, I just want to say: I'm sorry I left without paying for my shake. I had to go to work and was worried that I was pressed for time and didn't think about it, and I went back this evening and paid for it.

I just didn't want to look like a thief or a mooch or anything...

2. Interesting. I ran into a friend in Muscatine today

and he asked if I was going to see Culver. I said this was the first I'd heard about an appearance and he said he'd just heard himself.
Yesterday Ed Fallon was in Muscy and we were notified about two weeks ago and then almost every other day since. Ed had a good crowd.
My point is that if Culver is the nominee I hope to hell he works a damn site harder on getting his name out there and he has a staff that hustles a bit better than they seem to be doing now. I have been wanting to see Culver but have never been notified of any appearances. Have seen Blouin and Fallon several times.

Fallon has come to Waterloo two times in the last month that I was made aware of the night before (one for an AM event and one for an evening event) Sucks too, because with a little planning I could have made the evening event as it was right by my office building. I do have to say this for Fallon, I received telephone calls by volunteers on both events - not robo-calls. I have continually had cordial conversations with Fallon supporters. It's nice. (Don't think I'm taking away from Culver in any way - we get regular email/telephone/mail from them (Hell, I put the HQ on speed-dial for any time I have a question).

4. We've gotten calls and emails on appearances for Fallon and

Blouin - nothing from Culver. I believe I even asked to be notified during a campaign call early on, so long ago I can't even remember.
Strangely, i can hardly even remember Culver name coming up any more than just passing at the central committee meetings. We have a solid Blouin faction and many Fallon followers, but not much for Culver.
My only point is that Chet seems to be kind of blending into the background. I don't know if he is trying not to make folks mad or what. It just scares me if this will be his approach against Hatchet Man should he be the nominee. You can bet the pukes have reams of shit on each potential opponent.
I think I have been paying attention.
