Looks like a bad election night for Marion County Democrats.
Democratic officeholders are being unfairly blamed for the property tax fiasco!

As to jokerman's wife, our own Speedway Democrat:

Precincts Reporting: 13 of 18

Candidate Total
Lucinda Hilmer (i) R 1,063 58%
Traci Lipp D 780 42%

What a sad commentary! We get the government we deserve.

1. Typical GOP strategery
GOP fucks it up. Gets voted out. Stands outside the tent pissing and moaning about how fucked up it is. Gets re-elected to continue original fuckup.

Marion County Democratic party has been too complacent for years. That combined with the GOP-made tax fuckup was too much for an uninformed populace to put up with. I don't like Republicans worth a GODDAMN, but I don't like complacency in my own party either.
