What do you think?
Will another democrat challenge Blagoyevich for the nomination for Governor? A lot of people think he's extremely vulnerable.

1. I've heard rumors about Lisa.
Not quite sure she'd do it, but I'd vote for her. Blago's been a disaster.

2. She'd be tough to beat.
She's even gained the respect of republicans I work with. And I'm talking about a guy who really couldn't stand her when she was running.

Do you think her father would let her? lol

4. I'd have to have my dog sniff her out first.
Can she pass the smell test?

6. If not in '06, definitely in '10.
But given the right candidate, Blago could definitely lose the nomination. I'd keep an eye out for Downstate politicians to come out of the woodwork. He's especially unpopular once you go south of 1-80.

7. Too much Madigan in my mind
One family controls the Governor's office and is SPEAKER of the house? I don't think people will go for it.

8. I dunno of anyone else who would do it.
Neither of the Senators would. I'm not very up to speed on downstate politicians, so I couldn't tell you who else would step up.

3. Heard Dan Hynes.
Seems like an uphill challenge due to Blag's warchest. Tom Roeser gave Blag a sort of thumbs-up the other day. I don't often agree with Tom but he does an interesting job of pointing out the hypocrisy of the GOP. But that isn't all that difficult.

5. Hynes will go nowhere.
His trouncing by Obama effectively ended any future bid for higher office, I think. Going in, he was the favorite, and he couldn't break 25%. He'll probably stay in the Comptroller's office, if he's smart.
