Candidates forum in Rockford, IL
If you want to learn more about your Democratic candidates on both the state and national levels, the Northern Illinois Coordinated Campaign committee (NICCC), consisting of Boone, DeKalb, McHenry, Ogle and Winnebago Counties, invites you to a Democratic candidates' forum for the Illinois Gubernatorial race and the Illinois U.S. Senate race.

The date is Sunday, November 15, 2009. The time is 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel, 200 S. Bell School Road, Rockford, Illinois.

The forum moderator for the gubernatorial candidates is Chuck Sweeney of the Rockford Register Star. The session with Governor Pat Quinn and Comptroller Dan Hynes will start at 3:45 to 5:00, followed by a buffet dinner.

Following the dinner, Matt Streb, professor of political science from NIU will be the moderator for our invited Senatorial candidates, Alexi Giannoulias, Cheryl Jackson and David Hoffman.

Join us for a thoughtful discussion about the issues so very important to our state and nation and be an informed voter for the February 2, 2010 primary election.

Tickets will be held at the door and tables of eight are available for $200.00. Individual tickets are $25.00. Checks can be sent to NICCC, P.O. Box 785, DeKalb, Il, 60115.
