You all need to understand what Amendment 1 on our ballot really means!

I heard this on Thom Hartmann and about croaked! I was going to vote yes!

Heres what the amendment says on the ballot:

Shall the Constitution of Georgia be amendmended so as to make Georgia more economically competative by authorizing legislation to uphold reasonable competative agreements?

Sounds good huh? Well if you read the link you'll see that it means if you work for a hardware store, law firm, doctors office etc and they get you to sign a non-compete agreement, you wouldn't b able to work for any other business in that same field even if the working conditions, pay or anything else was unbearable! NOR would you be able to staryour own business!!!!

The guest on Thoms program said the promotion group handling this amendment is a very RW org that has already successfully gotten many amendments passed just by deceptive wording.

I & my husband have absentee bllots ans I just pulled ours down from my desk slot & marked NO to that amendment.

This amendment would not help Ga. citizens! It would deny competition to advantage the rich corps.
