What are we to do with Ken Nighthorse Salazar?
His vote against stripping telco immunity from FISA is just the latest in bad behavior from Colorado's "Democratic" senator.

He was buddies with Alberto Gonzales almost to his resignation, standing by his side at his nomination.

He supported Joe Lieberman in his independent race that defeated the real Democrat, Ned Lamont in Connecticut.

He voted for the Military Commissions Act of 2006.

He consistently voted to refund the Iraq War.

He voted for Kyl-Lieberman.

And several times, he voted for telco immunity in the FISA bill.

I'm sure others here can find the rest of his many betrayals of the Democratic Party.

He needs to fucking go.

He's up for reelection in 2010. That's still a couple years off, which gives us plenty of time to put together a primary challenge.

What's needed to get started on this? We need to throw this waste of human skin out of Congress!

2. elect Udall
elect a Democratic President (with Colorado in the blue column)

show Salazar that the state is turning blue and he'll move in that direction.

Ken Salazar got elected for a reason - Colorado has been a red state until recently.

His positions on a lot of these issues is consistant with that of the majority of people in this state. Or at least what he believes is the majority. Show him, at the ballot box, that he's wrong.

3. Great advice
I don't think Salazar is a bad guy at all, I just think he's got the idea that Colorado is more conservative than it actually is.

7. Yes, he got elected "for a reason".. and it had NOTHING to do with the people, or the greater good.
It had to do with rotten politics, tied to money and the DLC, at the top.

They BOUGHT and Paid for him, so don't expect him to sniff out any winds of change.

He knows which side his bread is buttered on, as the saying goes.

And it sure ain't the peoples' side!

9. Agreed.
Mike Miles was clearly the people's choice before the monied state Dem party stepped in and crowned Salazar.

4. Don't forget his vote against MoveOn.org after taking ...
nearly $58,000 (career total) from them (us). That feels like betrayal to me.

See my list of Salazar and all senators who voted to invoke cloture on S 2248 - the Protect America Act - along with telecom industry contributions that I could locate on OpenSecrets.org:

Salazar needs to go!

5. Mike Miles for Senate
He was the right choice before, and he's even more the right choice now. Talk about change!

6. How 'bout we strip him of his Superdelegate status?
We could offer a resolution at the State Assembly in May?
