Is Howard Stern on the air in Colorado?
Someone posted in GD that he's back on in almost all the markets where they took him off.

On edit, it seems he was at one point but has not been for some time....

Part of it stems to comments he made duringshortly after Columbine, which offended many people, apparently. It caused a big commotion with the state legislation, who ultimately voted to censure him and his local affiliate station. I don't remember the exact details but I think it was something to the effect of "why with all the good looking girls at the school the killers didn't have sex with them or something like that...." Perhaps a google search would give more details, but I have to run...

2. He Was Pulled Off a Denver Station After Columbine
After making lewd comments about some of the girls running out of the school.

I don't think he was ever on the stations in Colorado Springs or Pueblo. After all, a station in the Springs just started carrying Don Imus last year.

4. According to Westword
the Clearchannel stations phoned in complaints after his remarks to get him off the air.

He was on the Peak? Which is now Spainish. CC can pretty much run roughshod over the market.

3. I used to listen to him on the way to work
He was way on the right side of the dial. And it wasn't all that long ago. But time zips bye.

Thanks!
