What does Salazar have to do to beat Pete Coors?
I know that he is polling ahead of Coors but what if Coors starts stealing more of Salazar's votes. Now that the primary is over, can we get more people to solidify behind Salazar?

1. debate debate debate!!!
televised statewide!
That should clear it up then considering Coors is nothing but a taller version of the chimp-in-chief.

6. He's affable in person
and used to speaking in front of crowds. He doesn't stumble the way Bush does.

10. I hope you're right.
I cannot abide Peter fricking Coors in the Senate. Ken Salazar doesn't make me want to jump up and down either but he's the Dem in Nov and I will support him.

2. The slogan for Colorado should be, "Of Coors Not"
Do you want a Senator to buy your vote? "Of Coors, not"

4. I don't know. I'm afraid people will vote for the brand recognition
not knowing the real reputation of his company and his familiy's conservative think tanks. The guy's got a stadium named after him, for cripes sake.
Why, oh why did Salazar have to support Joementum? This is turning into exactly what I hoped it wouldn't.

12. GOTV efforts to get the Hispanic voters to the polls.
Colorado is one of those states with a rapidly growing Hispanic-American population. Salazar could inspire them to come out in record numbers this November. Get Out The Vote efforts directed at those Hispanic-Americans could make the difference.

13. Show voters that he is not another puppet of the insurance industry...
He supports allowing people to buy into insurance pools now regulated by the states only. But of course federal regulations, like COBRA,wouldn't apply. Have you been on COBRA for 10 months and wish to buy into a tax free insurance pool...sorry, we don't have to take sick people like you!

The irony is that the libertarian in this race is more liberal than the Democrat, here's to John Harris..let's hope he can slap some sense into Ken! :spank:

Is Ken another Zell Miller or an Eliot Spitzer?
