SACRAMENTO - In a 4 to 3 Assembly Rules Committee vote, legislation calling for the impeachment of President George W. Bush and Vice President Richard Cheney was referred to the Committee for further consideration .. SACRAMENTO, CA (KNX) -- .. Koretz, a Democrat from the 42nd District, covering West Hollywood, says if the measure passes, it will be sent to Congress. Federal impeachment proceedings can be initiated by the joint resolution of the houses of a state legislature. "There's never been an administration like this that has violated the Constitution," said Koretz .. Two other states, Illinois and Vermont, are considering similar measures.

I'm not sure which of the Dems are the 4 votes in question, or if Loni Hancok voted for someone as an alternate. Just thank all these Dems and congratulate them on the privilege of voting for such an historic piece of legislation.
