Has Arnold gone crazy. wants to raise the Min wage 1$. Begging for Votes?
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is expected to propose a $1 increase in the state's minimum wage after vetoing similar legislature this year, a further indication that he is cultivating a more moderate image as he begins his re-election year.

An aide to the governor said Friday that the proposal will be included in Schwarzenegger's State of the State speech on Thursday.

Under the plan, the hourly wage would rise from $6.75 to $7.25 in September and to $7.75 in July 2007.

----------------------------------------------------------
Doesn't he know the GOP lie of raising the min wage will doom the economy (even though Clinton did it 4 times and had the greatest economy of my lifetime. I guess he did not read the Bush memo of only BILLION $$$$ companies get government raises to spurn the economy. the Bush STAGNATION ECONOMY. I cant wait to see and hear the GOP slimes heads explode on Tues with this gem.

I hate to see a grown man BEG.

1. johnny wendell on KTLK predicted that Ahnuld

would be throwing out moves like this ( and holding the line on 'fee' increases at the universities ) to pave the way for re-election. seems he was on the right track.

3. I hope that the rumors that Al Gore is going to run against
him are true. I think Gore has a better chance of being elected than Angelides.
