Bodies Found in Car in Sonoma County
SONOMA COUNTY (KRON) -- Sonoma County Sheriff's deputies say they're treating the discovery of two bodies in a car as a possible double homicide. So far authorities are unwilling to confirm the bodies are those of a Walnut Creek woman and her five year old child. Both have been missing since at least Wednesday.

Investigators are sealing off a section of a gravel parking lot at Ernie's Tin Bar on Highway 116 at Stage Gulch Road and are diverting traffic away from the crime scene.

The discovery comes one day after the disappearance of Mary Alicia Driscoll and her five year old daughter Jineva. The Walnut Creek mother and daughter were reported missing yesday. The mother reportedly left a note.. implying authorities would find their bodies.

Earlier they would not issue a state wide Amber Alert, and now this happens.

1. This is heartbreaking. Here's another link:

Two bodies were found Friday afternoon just south of Petaluma in a vehicle being sought in a case involving a missing woman and her child.

A statewide Amber Alert was issued Thursday after Mary Alicia Driscoll, 39, of Walnut Creek disappeared with her 5-year-old daughter and left a note threatening to commit suicide and kill her daughter.

They did issue an Amber alert, but were a little late in doing so.

read this in today's bee.

A car belonging to a missing diabetic Placerville woman was found on a remote San Joaquin County road Thursday night with a body inside, authorities said.
Brandy Bidgood, 32, left her 5-year-old with a baby sitter last Friday before heading to Fresno to spend the weekend with her boyfriend, said Placerville Police, who launched an intensive search Wednesday.

Bidgood has been missing since Sunday afternoon.

Her boyfriend, Douglas Wilson, told authorities he last saw her about 2 p.m. in Modesto before she set out for Placerville in her 1996 dark green Geo.

San Joaquin County sheriff's deputies found Bidgood's car on an access road off Jack Tone Road, north of Kettleman Lane and south of the town of Lockeford, about 6:15 p.m. Thursday, said department spokesman Les Garcia.
