15. He gave an excellent talk
and it wasn't all stuff we knew already. Too bad we didn't hear anything come out of the British press on Sunday as predicted.

... as an example of how one person can turn a negative event into something positive that keeps on giving.

And Semi, which one were you? (I was the 6'7" hippie dude in the DU T-shirt.)

22. We said hello in the back of the room
as I was fixing to leave at the break. I'm the, uh, portly guy, with the short reddish-white beard who was wearing the Heavy Equipment shirt and left on the Harley dresser. I had a chance to talk with William before the event. Glad I did.

or the sponsor so I can try to figure it out. I have a candidate reception to go to but I'm hoping to make the SR event.

14. Santa Rosa
It was a great, though long, program. I am a closet Green, so I found the focus on change through Democrats a bit dubious. We are all in this mess together and it will take working together to throw the bums out.

I attended the first hour and then had to leave so I wasn't able to say hi to folks. I wish I could have heard all the speakers.

20. Aren't we ready to bury the anti-Green animosity?
I mean, if we're ready to welcome disaffected Republicans to our growing ranks, shouldn't we stop harping on Ralph Nader and 2000? This isn't a Democrats-only fight; this is a fight to save our constitution and country from neo-feudalist corporate fascists. And we'll need all the help we can get.

17. You rocked Will!
There's a certain vulnerability and honesty in your presence while speaking that really brings the message home.

Oh, and in case you missed it :):

18. 2nd that
You're walking the talk, Will, and I love you for that
For DUers who missed it much of his speech was an encapsulization of hispast writings focused and distilled, particularly his last few blog entries.
