I know it's Saturday night, and I know we are all feeling pretty good about the debate, some better poll numbers coming out now, things going pretty well. The "global test" thing isn't even sticking and Kerry was telling the truth anyway.

So. We HAVE TO STAY ON THE MEDIA'S ASS. Go to the Media List on this site and just pick out a FEW media organizations you want to shoot off an email or LTTE to. Please, even if you think you can't write worth a damn, they especially like them short and sweet. It doesn't have to be some wonderful article or dissertation.

I've resolved to write five media outlets a day, more if I can manage it, EVERY day from here to election day. There are what? 50,000 registered users here? If only HALF of those registered users did this, damn. Think about that.

bush is not likeable, he is incompetent, he is NOT FIT TO LEAD.

Kerry is in command of the facts, Kerry UNDERSTANDS the issues that really affect Americans, Kerry is more Presidential and more likeable than the President.

Come on guys, if you are still hitting the media, report in this thread that you are to give everyone else some inspiration. Even if it is just ONE email, you WILL make a difference.

You write a good email and send it to at least five sources!

Well of course you don't use the same email every day, but it's easy because you just keep it short and sweet!

Like the post says above, just pick a few media sources, write and say "Hey I find Kerry WAY more likeable than bush!"

Etc.

I just started a yahoo group for people in my area to respond to local media bias. Members can post articles or whatever it is that needs a response, then the whole group can respond to the issue. We will see if it is productive.

I have not been nearly active enough. I read crap LTTE or editorials in my local papers and bring the op-ed page to work or save it at home intending a response, but never seem to get around to it. I guess it always seems that the RW bias of the paper with cherry pick the letters they want to publish anyway.

No More! This is the goddamn home stretch! Time for the finishing kick!

Done quite a few, and heading off to some friends tonight to review the debate tape (they didn't see the splitscreen version) and watch Orwell Rolls in his Grave, and excellent documentary by Robert Kane Pappas. We saw this in dallas a few days ago, and it is a brilliant expose of the media monster we face. RKP was a very cool guy as well, very open and friendly! Go to his website and pick up a copy to spread around, because it could very well open a lot of eyes, and do some good in arming people to deal with the psyops world we live in.

After the tapes, we plan to brainstorm some letter points that we can use to compose letters and post comments.
