1. they have taken his stupidity and turned it into "purposeful" stupidity
as if he were smart enough to make that complicated transition in his mind. He is stupid, period and they , and his Poppy and Mum, have gone through great lengths to hide his lower than average IQ>

The perception that most of the world had of that press conference, that Bush was either brainless or on drugs, was not worth trying to score a few debate points (as if they needed to with the big media in their pocket).

No way they planned it that way. Bush f*cked up, that's all.
