1). "Do you approve or disapprove of the way Bush is handling the situation in Iraq?"

9/23-26/04

Approve: 47%
Disapprove: 50%
No Opinion: 3%

2). "All in all, considering the costs to the United States versus the benefits to the United States, do you think the war with Iraq was worth fighting, or not?"

9/23-26/04

Worth Fighting: 46%
Not Worth Fighting: 51%
No Opinion: 3%

3). "Do you think the United States has gotten bogged down in Iraq, or do you think the United States is making good progress in Iraq?"

9/23-26/04

Bogged Down: 60%
Not Bogged Down: 36%
No Opinion: 4%

The Harris Poll. Sept. 9-13, 2004. N=1,018 adults nationwide. MoE ± 3.

4). "Do you believe that the U.S. government deliberately exaggerated the reports of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq in order to increase support for war, or do you think it tried to present the information accurately?"

1. Overall, things are pointing in the right direction in these polls
But who the fuck are these 36% who think the US is not bogged down in Iraq?????

4. A reporter early yesterday morning said that as Bush heads for the
debates he faces a new problem---that national polls are showing people again starting to doubt Iraq, lose faith, think wrong decision, etc. In other words, the convention is wearing off.
