I was browsing through the swamp at Freerepublic last week, looking at one of those stupid "birther" threads.

Those guys are serious as heart attacks. Anyway, some the freepers said that if you look at Obama real close, you can see that he's Malcolm X's son. They were really serious about this.

Then another freeper wrote, "well that settles it then. If he's Malcolm X's son then he's clearly a natural born citizen of the US since both his parents were Americans."

I spit my coffee out and cracked up. The freepers began attacking the guy for raining on the parade.

2. I saw that thread! Sometimes they have threads that are just comedy gold.

I have to confess to laughing at some threads until the tears were running. Sometimes I think there are some DU people just egging them on.

4. I don't think it was. You know, there are some freepers who are

embarrassed about the birther thing and think it's a waste of time.

They didn't accuse the guy of being a troll even though they beat up on him pretty bad. It was more like the guy really hurt their feelings because they knew he wasn't a troll.

You could practically feel the hurt feelings coming through the computer screen. LOL

What was funny about it too was reading some of them trying to figure out how he could be Malcolm X's son and still not be eligible because he was born in Kenya. Pretty funny stuff.
