If I were Obama, I'd be pretty annoyed with the Nobel committee...
because this was the news, I'm certain, that his administration wanted to play most heavily in the news media:

http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-obama-regulation10-2009oct10,0,2185841.story

Reporting from Washington - President Obama today urged Congress to ignore the lobbying from banks and business groups and create a new agency to protect consumers in the financial marketplace as part of an overhaul of government regulations.

"They're doing what they always do -- descending on Congress, using every bit of influence they have to maintain the status quo that has maximized their profits at the expense of American consumers, despite the fact that recently a whole bunch of those same American consumers bailed them out as a consequence of the bad decisions that they made," Obama said at a White House event.

Obama's talk was designed to give his financial regulatory overhaul momentum as a key congressional committee is set to vote next week on whether to create the new agency and on other parts of the plan.

6. Annoyed?

It may have been a surprise, but it surely wasn't an unpleasant one. ;-)

My God, this president has so much going on at once that I can't understand how he can handle it all.
