And Orly Taitz Cranks The Crazy Up Past 11 To 12
In Perhaps the most incoherent rant of a motion to recuse ever filed in American Judicial History, Orly Taitz starts cranking the crazy above 11.

Then, rather than complying with Judge LAnd's ORder to Show Cause, the crazy goes even higher with a motion to extend on the day the Order to Show Cause required her response.

This goes beyond failure to show cause as so ordered by Land. She's now in full contempt of court. She's going to prison over this one, mark my words.

orchestrated by "Obama's brownshirts".

3. She doesn't even cite one legal reason to recuse in her motion to recuse
Edited on Fri Oct-02-09 07:15 PM by WeDidIt
She's going to be found in contempt of court and she's going to be thrown in prison to cool her heels.

Then she's going to be fined one hell of a lot more than $10K.

20. I don't think he can up the sanctions because of Const issues:
He gave notice of a $10K fine and to burn her with more, it would be violative IMO of due process on the taking of property. Lack of due process notice of the amount of property at issue.

But...he sure can throw her ass in jail for a direct contempt IMO.

36. I wonder who she has writing these things for her.
While there is not really a coherent argument, whoever it is obviously knows how to do legal research and string case cites together, and even that seems to be beyond Orly's level of competence.

From PatGund

If you download the PDF files of her latest pleadings and check properties, (and check the name of her "Law Clerk" in the filings), the same name appears:

Charles Edward Lincoln III.

CEL3 is an attorney disbarred in Florida and California, and forced to give up his license in Texas. A convicted felon known for mortgage scams, he runs a business and website named after the motto of the Confederate States of America. He's also known for conning people into signing over property to him in the guise of "fixing their mortgages" and then suing the banks until he's forced out of the property.

In other words, he's a lying, dishonest con-artist with a history of flirting with Neo-Confederates and the "Sovereign Citizens" movement. And he's attached himself to Dr. Orly like a limpet, writing her motions in exchange for using her law license to further his scams.

Even some birthers have publically warned Dr. Orly about him.

Orly seems like she could barely string a sentence together, and whoever is writing these documents obviously has some real legal experience.

5. Monday should be a very bad day for Orly
She'll be found in contempt of court. She'll have to pay $10K in sanctions plus answer the contempt charges which will probably mean time behind bars and another fine heavier than the $10K in sanctions.

Then Judge Carter will dismiss the case where she's representing Alan Keyes.

debtors prison issues. But....anything of $1,000+ is a mandatory report to the CalBar. There is already a petn pending to disbar her. This bullshit she is doing in right now is NOT gonna help her at all.

It's impossible to become a martyr when you have no supporters. The 'Birther' movement has jumped the shark; her base has essentially evaporated into thin air, leaving her hanging high and dry.

I'm not an attorney, nor do I play one on television, but I would advise her to hire a mediocre counselor to mop up her mess because a good one would not touch this case with the proverbial ten-foot-pole. I would also advise her to seek psychiatric help ASAP.

...:scared:

I have practiced in Feddie court ~~ and just reading what she wrote makes me shudder. Federal judges literally have more power than god and can make life a living hell for anyone they wish.

I cannot imagine doing anything even mildly approaching what Orly did in her motion to recuse ~~ she accuses the judge of misconduct on the bench...and she literally has less than -0- facts to support her argument. Welcome to hell, Orly.

:wow:

39. How does that go?
"You dont tug on Superman's robe, ya don't spit into the wind...." or, as a very drunk friend attempted to explain to me "Ya don't pish in Shuperman's pocket!"
She, or her legal lapdog Lincion accused the judge of everything but spitting on the sidewalk in that "motion" - AFTER a stern warning from the bench.
The only reason the judge will have to not jail her is the desire to never see her again.......

40. Well beyond the "borderline" but not psychotic, I'd say,
This is a person with a giant personality disorder, able to tell right from wrong, able to orient herself in time and space, but only questionably ABLE to assist rationally in her own defense.

That's one for the courts and judges to debate over. Is this person merely legally "insane", and thus not punishable under the law, or can she be charged for her actions and face the lawful consequences?

Interesting questions.

Different punishments, though.

In this case, though, she's going as far as to say that anybody who knows about "birthers" should step down from her case.... IOW, this is an insane person asking that only other insane people handle the case.

reading that Motion to Extend the Day gave me a freakin' headache. I draft Motions to Set Over virtually once a week, and the word salad in this motion is nuts. And doesn't she know the difference between a motion and a supporting affidavit or declaration? Granted, local rules can vary, but heavens...this woman is a hot mess just in the filings themselves, not just the craziness of her thought processes.
