3. Wow...These are great!
What a range of emotion in these pictures, from the family of the Medal of Honor winner to the faces of the people attending the health care rally. I am not sure I ever saw the crowd around Bill Clinton look at him that adoringly. The President has some cosmic Karma going on.

And didn't the First Lady look fine at the Hispanic event? And love the Secret Service agent picking out veggies with her. Too cool.

Thanks for posting!

4. On thing I noticed in the Maryland photos
was how everyone was smiling, cheering (except for the nut)--and how there were more than just white folk there. I love to see colorful crowds like this! Thanks for posting all the photos!

14. The President lives in a Crayola box world.......
.... all the different hues .... each unique and lovely on its own .... yet each one needed to make a beautiful picture.

.... the President? Well he's the sharpener of course!!!

He keeps us ON POINT! ;)

Are you FIRED up!!!?

Let's go change the world!

Herb Williams has also created a crayon sculpture of President Obama. The 4-by-4-foot crayon sculpture required 50,000 crayons, features 20 Crayola colors and weighs 150 pounds.

(I searched for "crayola art" and this is what I got .... aint Google awesome?)

..... I mean, there's the phenomenon I've talked about where you can type "Obama" and ANY other word into Google's image search and always get a hit (try it.)

And he's practically the new Che Guevara of the t-shirt world.

(my personal favorite)

Those brains and that common sense, with that ability to speak, and that coolness, all in one lovely package. No wonder the Freepers are having a meltdown. I told my father today, "aren't we lucky he's on our side!" lol

8. Yep. Repubs see how young people respond to our President...
This is exactly why they raised such a stink about his speaking to school children.

Kids of all ages know the real deal when they are exposed to it.

Hell, I am 64-- but he can make me feel young and involved in the future that I want for my daughters and grand baby.

I continue to have hope as long as we see crowds like those with young people being so engaged. Go youth!!

29. And I love the way he honors her ~

He is not afraid of holding her hand and kissing her so tenderly ~ what a role model he is for America.

Not just with the First Lady but with everyone.

It must be hard to even pretend to not like him.

19. I love all the photos but I have to say this one really struck me for...
three reasons:

The diversity
The smiles
The young people

It is in such stark contrast to the all white, frowning, older crowds we saw pics of over the weekend.

Thanks, Jackeens, for another great photo array!

Michelle is just stunning in every single picture. Love the black dress and LOVE the colorful dress. Love her!

Uh oh, looks like the GOP is missing a wingnut. But not to worry, we found him and we're sending him back!

24. I heard he had a busy day..I saw
the Medal of Honor Ceremony. Thank you, Jackeens for filling in the whole day with these amazing photos.

And, their chef, Sam Kass~

"And I also want to thank our mayor, Mayor Fenty, for all that he is doing for our new hometown, D.C. (Applause.) You know, when we decided to plant the White House garden, we thought it would be a great way to educate kids about eating more healthy. Right, kids? Vegetables? (Applause.) Yay for vegetables! But as it turned out, the garden has turned into so much more than we could have ever expected, and it's a really fun thing to do as well. This has been one of the greatest things that I've done in my life so far. It's just been a tremendous honor, and working with the kids in the D.C. community and hearing how they've learned and how they're growing and how they're sharing the information with their families just warms my heart and makes me hopeful for the future."

... and who support his agenda.

I watched that Medal of Honor ceremony today. It was so moving. The president did a beautiful job.
