President Obama: WHY HE'S LOSING WHITE SUPPORT (CNN Situation Room 9/7)
What kind of fuKKKing headline is that?

Let's tell those idiots what we think of their latest meme.

1. We have been hearing this "white support" since early in the campaign
remember all the headlines about why the "working-class" voter would not support Obama?

Which, more and more, is no longer the case.

10. According to cable news...
...Obama never had much much white support to begin with so what is there to lose? I remember the meme was always that Obama didn't have enough white votes to win the primaries, then the election, and now this bullshit headline.

11. Brian Todd is talking about it now
Edited on Mon Sep-07-09 05:39 PM by Apollo11
He is explaining that independents and older voters are turning away from Obama, according to some dumb poll 14 months out from the mid-terms.

Also support among white women is falling, according to the same dumb poll.

They are actually discussing this seriously as a black-white issue.

"Are we injecting some kind of racial element into this?" - asks Suzanne Malveaux. Duh!

Candy Crowley points out that half these "conservative and moderate democrats" probably never supported Obama in the first place. Also "Polls can go up and polls can go down".

Talk about "The Best Political Team on TV"! :sarcasm:

Luckily the dumb discussion was cut short for the breaking news of an airplane emergency landing in Tampa. Nobody was hurt but the passangers are sliding down the escape shutes.

Next: Palin and Rove supporting one of Obama's policies. Laura Bush says some criticism of Obama is unfair. It is a very dumb show. I would rather be watching The Ed Show. Is it on?

19. McCain got 55% of white vote
Obama got huge majorities of African-American vote and a significant majority of Hispanics. http://www.slate.com/id/2204251/

24. But Obama's total among whites was BETTER than Kerry's or Gore's

McCain's 55% among whites was worse than Bush's in '00 or '04.

It's a Rep/Dem thing as much as anything.

20. a far larger majority of minorities voted for Obama
Edited on Mon Sep-07-09 06:30 PM by JI7
by minorities i mean blacks, latinos, asians etc. any non white voters.

but this does not apply to every state. for example in certain states like New Hampshire a majority of whites probably voted for OBama.

15. Thanks...
I sent a letter I would've been advised to "tear up" if it were on paper, and write again when I cooled down. But I don't care. I can't stand the fact that they encourage all the racism that has come to the surface. It's becoming absolutely blatant, with no attempts to hide it. I'm glad, maybe it will finally backfire on the bastards.

16. Done: Here are my comments
President Obama: WHY HE'S LOSING WHITE SUPPORT (CNN Situation Room 9/7). This is another reason why your news organization has become a sham. Your organization is trying to create news and not report facts. You are disrespectful of President Obama and because you are fixated on his race you cannot report the news in an unbiased faction. I will no longer be watching any of your programs.

Trying to create news.

They think if they repeat this bullshit enough, people will start to believe it.
