3. You'd have to change the constitution too.
The Gubarnator's folks tried to do that when they released shlocky movie about his "American Dream" so he could eventually get on a presidential ticket.

It failed.

He is most likely out of politics come election period.

4. No amendment. Just a waiver for the good of the nation. Wouldn't want to set a precedent, now,
would we?

It could be like the 2000 (s)election ruling by the Supreme Court - a one-time, special-occasion, exception.

Can't you look past the letter of the law and see the benefit? Just this once?

2. Can you imagine listening to those two voices for 4 years.
The US would be the first nation in the world to be composed entirely of the hearing impaired. It would be self-defense on the part of the populace.
