Just curious: why did Palin leave today?
or was it yesterday? Why not July 31st?

22. Randi Rhodes suggested that she might be.
I don't think she could get away with concealing another one.

25. The real "Mavericks" protested her using that term
to describe herself, and although I have no legal status to do so I also protest the use of rebel to describe her. ;)

I am a female who has been referred to as a rebel since I was a toddler by my parents, friends and enemies and trust me when I say I am nothing like palin. My rebelling has left me poor and broken in my old age. Always doing what you think is the right thing is not profitable for the most part. At least not in my world. :hippie:

4. Who knows,
but there was some speculation that it had to do with a discovery request for emails in the Tennessee hacking case. The subpoena was to be responded to by tomorrow, I believe.

5. It was literally a 2 weeks notice.
I think it's because she's probably in some serious weeds with the last ethics charge. Does stepping down make that go away?

14. Can't get unemployment if you quit!
You have to have lost the job through no fault of your own!

18. You can still put in for it LOL
When I worked in the Texas Employment Commission years ago, there was one claimant who was turned down because he was fired ... because he shot his supervisor! But he didn't quit.

26. If you are given the option of quitting or being fired
and you quit you can draw unemployment. Especially if it is through no fault of your own and the employers are known to be A-holes. I have done it before and the state agency said they would fight for me to receive my benefits, and then encouraged me to sue the employer...which I never did. Too lily-livered I am.

It's because she needs some time with her personal trainer before her Playboy shoot.

That woman is so desperate for media attention, that sooner or later, she's gonna wind up at the mansion.
