8. No, I gotcha.....
.... but it's a poll ..... if his number goes down and Cheney's goes up .... well, then that's probably coming from right leaning moderates who weren't hard core Obama supporters anyway.

And if other polls are staying the same. Dont stress it. ;)

3. Personally, the whole thing is ridiculous to me, the guy is surrounded by inherited problems
Edited on Wed Jun-17-09 07:34 PM by RollWithIt
On all sides. It seems like every single issue advocate wants their world saved in six months. The whole "Outrage" is at best incredibly moronic.

At this point, I will settle for a stable economy in three years. Hell, I will be extremely happy if some crazy maniac doesn't assassinate him. It's not like America doesn't have a history of killing progress.

The last six months on DU have been difficult to watch a lot of the time. So shortsighted.

6. And actually, Obama has done more for same sex couples than any Politician in history....
Here's the irony of the Outrage. Obama, under the cover of the Outrage, gave same sex couples the same benefits as normal couples in the US Government. That sets precedent federally. So all of the lower courts will most likely follow the precedent. So he has done more for same sex couples than any President in US history.

But the outrage!

9. And yet, here's a poll from CBS that says there's no dent..
ProSense

"Poll: No Dent In Obama's Popularity (Not NBC/WSJ)"

"CBS/NY Times Survey Finds Approval Stays At 63%; High Marks On Economy, Foreign Policy, Though Not Auto Industry Or Deficit"

So he smirks for nothing.
