5. Yes no parole and in his cell 24/7
That's far worse than the death penalty.

I apologize on behalf of all the reasonable people who live in my area that this scum shared air with us here.

Sounds like he was on his way home from Wichita when they caught him. Gardner is on I35, just south of here on the way to Wichita.

that Kansans are not so bad.

Then something like this happens.

19. And I often forget that KC is pretty progressive compared to the rest of the state
But we have our share of idiots here. Many of the most obnoxious right wing idiots in the state legislature are from Olathe. And that is in my county.

24. Pretty much the same. Terrorism = Federal and Murder = State
A jury in Kansas might even declare a mistrial or even nullify, too. It's highly doubtful they'd apply the death penalty for somebody who kills a doctor who performed abortions and I even doubt life without parole.

A Federal conviction means no parole ever.

did it. These people are being fired up to commit these types of crimes. Shameful

14. Clearly not innocent before proven guilty - although I suspect they have the right person
DU is usually aggressively innocent until proven guilty unless its someone from the right wing. I suspect he is guilty as hell - but there is nothing wrong with a little consistency.

23. If this individual is convicted, he should spend the rest of his life
behind bars, taken out on the anniverary of the murder to go to the grave of the man he murdered; every year, for the rest of his life.

... how refreshing it is to be able to come here and NOT read people demanding that Tiller's murder receive the same fate (the death penalty.)

It's tempting when it's a political opponent and so cold blooded, but I'm against the DP both morally and for practical reasons, and I'm consistent.
