$120 for one Geo Bulb?????
WTF!!!!

Are you kidding me.....

Just saw on MSNBC a bulb being sold for $120 just to save on energy, this is
extortion, how would you expect people to save on energy? when they are already
paying high price just to save on energy.

I thought the idea is to reduce cost and save at the same time, didn't someone
explained it to these folks.

$120 for 1 Geo Bulb

1. Actually I believe you can write those sort of purchases off in your taxes that's why.

So you get a percentage of that back. When you follow energy saving purchases and environmentally friendly items you get to write those off on your taxes. So it's actually worth the funds.

4. There is no way that product cost anywhere near $120 to manufacture.
So by charging that much for it, and allowing the purchaser to write it off on taxes, isn't this a form of corporate welfare?

2. Toyota lost money for years on the Prius
Mass production yields savings eventually.

CFLs used to cost nearly $20. Now I can buy twenty for that price.
