at the Internet Town Hall Meeting. I'm told that there were thousands upon thousands of questions submitted and that some were selected to be used in the meeting. I'm sure the selection process had something to do with allowing the President to get across his message regarding the topic.

From what I remember of his answer - he referred to meeting in the same room about a month ago with his Healthcare Task Force - whom we know represented a cross section of leaders from all walks of healthcare. He chose to reference only - insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies - in his answer.

I just want to see how the question was phrased and I want to analyze his answer again - as - he really came out with the message that he is not for a "single-payer" system.

I think it was telling that he only mentioned - insurance and pharmaceutical companies in his answer. I think he maybe subconsciously was telegraphing to us that - his plan is going to be built according to their liking.

I'm quite upset that it looks like what we will be getting is more of the same with respect to healthcare. The very factors that are causing the problems that currently exist in healthcare are the insurance and pharmaceutical companies.

We need to call in our chips on the President. I voted for him because I wanted change. It doesn't look like will be getting the change we need with respect to healthcare. Sounds to me like his is "Just Saying No".
