Who is this asswipe Repuke Congressman debating Rep. Meeks on Hardball
Meeks sounds like he has a clue and then some.

The repuke asswipe sounds like he shoved his head up his ass before speaking on Hardball. First he talks about something that happened back during the Carter administration (Meeks: Who cares about 1977, let's worry about today). Then he wins about Republicans having no input into the Stimulus bill (they did - had a few things cut back).

Hey asshole - think about this. Perhaps if you guys didn't take a major nosedive in the 2008 elections you'd have more of a voice in the Stimulus Bill. The fact that you lost something like 5-6 Senate seats and a few dozen house seats shows that perhaps the country wants the democrats making the decisions.

6. And one wonders why the republican party is sucking right now
now they have Bob Ehrlich representing the republicans - a 1-term repuke governor who was given the boot overwhelmingly in 2006.

If Maryland couldn't be botherd to re-up him for another term why should the rest of the country want to listen to him.

2. Dan Burton (R-Indiana) ... doesn't he know Tweety worked for Carter?
Tweety was a speechwriter for Carter and didn't
remember Carter offering a stimulus bill ... If
Burton was BS'ing, Tweety is going to come down on
him ... HARD.

11. It's un-seemingly to see gray haired old men still able to smirk & belly ache like teeagers...
But these republican used car salesman types like Burton do have the market cornered no doubt! Or maybe he's angry the chubby he received from Clinton's impeachment proceedings has since gone flaccid

17. I was just amazed that he didn't back down or express SOME doubt ...
Like he didn't know he was talking to a former
Carter staffer. Senator, this is not some stupid
Dittohead -- this is a guy who actually WORKED
for Carter ... You can't get away with lying as
easily with someone who actually has knowledge of
what was proposed by that administration.

18. It hasn't taken republicans but two weeks to begin complaining they've had no input...
It's just mindless & stupid, a complaint that has no foundation; especially when thinking back not that long ago when Dems had doors closed & locked to them and their ideas torn or ignored from legislation by these dangerous republican liars.

19. Rep. Meeks is going to run for Mel Martinez's Senate seat.
I hope the people of Florida are smart enough to elect him into it. He's a sharp guy.

Dan Burton is still around? I remember him from the Clinton impeachment days. What a piece of s***!

9. I thought his head was going to explode.
By the end his veins were popping. Rep. Meeks and Tweety got him all flustered. Whine, whine, whine.

8. Watermelon Dan Burton by Bill Press
http://archives.cnn.com/2000/ALLPOLITICS/stories/03/31/bill.press/index.html

Snip

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- I know you're not going to believe it, but one day this week I heard a little kid in my neighborhood singing this refrain:

Watermelon Dan, Watermelon Dan,
Out to get the Clinton man,
Hell will freeze before he can,
But he'll keep trying,
Watermelon Dan.

And so it goes every spring in Washington: the right-wing posse rides again, all three members, each loonier than the last.

Their leader is Watermelon Dan Burton, who of course got his nickname by inviting reporters to his back yard and shooting a watermelon to prove (how?) that Vince Foster did not commit suicide, a wacko theory he still believes, despite at least four investigative conclusions to the contrary

end snip

I'm fearful it has something to do with Stereotyping

14. Nothing to do with stereotyping at all. When the Clintons were accused of
having Vince Foster killed, Dan Burton took a watermelon to his back yard, set it up, and shot it with a gun and somehow thought he had proved that the man had been murdered by the Clintons.

Sucker is crazy and a bedbug and a gazillion times as annoying.
