I reserved my Leviticus 2010 Referendum at the Madison Farmers Market today!
I have a web site that will chronicle and assist those that want to have the Leviticus 2010 Referendum as part of the 2010 menu for their state's elections.

http://leviticus2010.com/

It is based on the Leviticus 20:10 passage:

And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

– Leviticus 20:10

Operationally, the point is to strike back at the GOP and their base, the Religious Reich, that is determined on continuing homophobia and theocratic tendencies, with their own medicine.

Essentially, the only people truly protected from the Leviticus 2010 Referendum are those that can't get married or have their relationships (which are much like marriage) recognized.

Hopefully, Wisconsin will have the referendum in 2010. It's a matter of getting enough signatures. And other states could also follow with the same tactic... it's a learning process for me, but I look forward to the dialogue from people on the street.

1. I applaud your efforts to expose hypocrisy, but there's one problem...
I'd be stoned to death.

5. We can change it...
Instead of getting stoned to death, the verbage would say you would get stoned.

4. Sweet!
I'm gonna start teaching some little kids to throw rocks.

It's just that first one without sin right? Then open season for the rest of us?
