Everyone, Calm Down. This Was Not The FINAL Bill
Wait until the FINAL Stimulus package is put up for a vote until you criticize, or even praise it. There's a ways to go until this thing is finalized. In the end, more money could be added to it, and I suspect that some House Republicans and definitely some Senate Republicans will vote for the FINAL bill.

There is one big thing to keep in mind. A major stimulus bill will be passed within the next month, whether Republicans support it or not, and if they don't support it, their constiuents may get cut out of the pie. Some sweeteners will be added to get their support.

This is all part of the legislative process. See this video:

6. I thought all revenue bills had to originate in the House.

2. Lawrence O'Donnell talked about this earlier on Olbermann.
He basically said the same thing.

3. I hate to say it but I actually hope more is added and they don't
support it. I want them to continue to look like the assholes they are.

5. I don't get the outrage. This bill is a LIBERALS DREAM
Which is why none of the Repukes would support it. The tax cuts aren't for the rich. TWith the spending in it. Tax cuts for the middle class, infrastructure, healthcare, double the education spending, etc.....You've got FDRs legacy and a full assault on Reganomics. This is why the Repukes are so pissed.
